The Galician Institute for Economic Promotion (IGAPE) is a public body that was created in 1993 as PARt of the Regional Ministry of Economy and Finance of the regional government or Xunta. Its mission is to promote the creation of new companies, suPPOrt improvements in productivity and comPETitiveness in companies already instalLED in the Autonomous Community, attract foreign investment and facilitate the internationalisation of its productive fabric.

Amongst the main functions of the IGAPE are managing and processing incentives for investment through grants and funding made available for projects undertaken in the Autonomous Community of Galicia.
